Ingredients

Pan cake ingredients:

  • 1 cup Abu Auf Oat Flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of Salt
  • ½ cup natural yoghurt
  • 1 teaspoon Abu Auf Coconut oil (to cook)
  • 6 Abu Auf Sokkary dates

Cooking Instructions

Cooking Directions:

  1. In a bowl, mix all ingredients (except coconut oil and dates) until well combined into a relatively thick batter.
  2. Leave to rest for 10 minutes.
  3. Chop the dates into small pieces.
  4. Heat coconut oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  5. Use a teaspoon to add batter to the pan (1 teaspoon per pancake.)
  6. Add chopped dates on top of every pancake.
  7. Flip on the other side when the outside of the pancake is puffed and easy to flip.
  8. Cook on the other side until golden.
  9. Transfer to serving dish, and serve with your favorite honey, molasses, maple syrup or just plain
